2005
| In 2005 Theo Baart was asked by the
Fries Museum
and the
Leeuwarder Courant
to explore their region. He was hardly familiar with this Northern province of the Netherlands and he traveled over a period of 6 months to the unknown Friesland.
For the presentation he made combinations of photoworks, He wanted to find out how that would work. One is used to do this designing a book but how does it work in a presentation on a wall?
Theo Baart shows his love for this open and beautiful landscape, its amazing lack of inhabitants for Dutch standards, the discrepancy with the dense traffic and population in the West and some forebears of change, adopting to certain customs common in the West.
